Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans that aim to support their journey towards emotional wellness.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and psychodynamic therapy tailored to the needs of clients, whether they are individuals, couples, or families.

• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurately reflect client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with your multidisciplinary team, participating in case reviews and treatment strategy meetings to enhance client care and outcomes.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research by participating in professional workshops and continuing education opportunities, helping you to refine your skills and expand your therapeutic repertoire.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be serving individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Your work will often involve engaging clients who have historically had little access to mental health services, making your role crucial in providing them with the support they deserve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Maryland.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in individual and group therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
