Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Plantation, Florida, which boasts modern treatment areas designed for patient comfort and therapeutic effectiveness. Our clinic fosters a collaborative atmosphere where Physical Therapists work jointly with physicians, occupational therapists, and exercise specialists to provide comprehensive care. The full-time schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish treatment goals and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities appropriate for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer therapies that enhance mobility and improve functional abilities.
• Encourage and motivate patients during their rehabilitation process to ensure they are engaged and achieving optimal outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness.
• Document care provided accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and address any barriers to progress.
• Educate patients and their families on self-management techniques, injury prevention strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population primarily dealing with orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain related to musculoskeletal disorders. You will play a crucial role in ensuring these individuals regain independence and restore their quality of life through tailored physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's Degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required.
• Proficient in assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, demonstrating a strong understanding of orthopedic principles.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a rehabilitation center or outpatient clinic.

Compensation and Benefits
