Life Vista Counseling Center is actively seeking a fully licensed and experienced Mental Health Therapist, including Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), or Doctors of Psychology (PsyD). This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing licensed professionals to deliver high-quality mental health care from the comfort of their homes while reaching a diverse population in Los Angeles, California.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health statuses and to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapy modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy, to individuals, couples, and groups aimed at addressing complex mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with an integrated care team, which includes case managers, psychiatrists, and other health care professionals, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care aligned with their treatment goals.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing acute emotional distress or emergency situations, applying compassionate strategies to stabilize their condition.

• Participate in community outreach activities designed to raise awareness about mental health issues, thereby helping to reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Qualifications\n

• A current and independent license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, facilitating trust and therapeutic engagement.

• Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to effectively work with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills for maintaining detailed and accurate client documentation while adhering to deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits\n
