Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual goals.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, delivering clinical interventions designed to aid clients in navigating life challenges such as trauma, mental health disorders, or family issues.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychologists, nurses, and educational professionals, to coordinate care for your assigned patients.

• Research, advocate for, and connect clients with valuable community resources, including healthcare, housing assistance, and substance use support services.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adapt therapeutic approaches as necessary based on documented outcomes and feedback.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention during mental health emergencies or instances of abuse.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on children and adolescents within the school setting, addressing mental health concerns that disrupt educational performance and personal growth. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a behavioral health setting, preferable with a focus on children and adolescents.

• Demonstrated experience in working with veterans is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in taking psychosocial histories and conducting comprehensive case management evaluations, including the application of interview techniques and suicide risk assessments.

• Sound knowledge of therapeutic techniques for individual, group, and family therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
