Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your time effectively while ensuring you remain an integral part of our supportive and collaborative outpatient team. Our practice hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate both patient and therapist needs. By leveraging telehealth technology, you will engage with patients in a manner that ensures comfort and privacy, while also remaining connected with your colleagues through regular virtual meetings and case consultations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments that take into account the diverse backgrounds and unique experiences of each patient, leading to tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods to guide individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring that interventions are reflective of the cultural context of your clients.

• Provide compassionate individual, family, and group therapy aimed at addressing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues.

• Coordinate comprehensive care by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic patient management.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, stepping in during mental health emergencies to provide immediate support and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their family members about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources after assessing their needs.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with ethical standards and legal regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems that enhance patient care management.

• Actively participate in continuous professional development, such as cultural competency training, case conferences, and team meetings, to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Stay updated with current research, best practices, and emerging cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Your practice will focus on serving a vibrant and diverse array of clients who often face unique societal challenges. This includes individuals from various ethnic and cultural minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant clients who benefit from a therapist who can provide tailored and empathetic support. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, welcoming space that promotes healing and fosters understanding across cultural divides.

Qualifications\n

• A completed Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, recognizing the significance of evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural considerations.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy.
\n
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, with the ability to maintain composure during tense situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated success in establishing rapport with a wide range of individuals.

• Competency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other technological tools relevant to patient management.
\n
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional interactions.

• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
