Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments during initial sessions to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and needs.

• Engage clients through empathetic communication, building rapport to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions via telehealth, employing both individual and group therapy modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients may include individuals grappling with a diverse range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will be expected to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity to variances in identities and backgrounds while providing individualized care that resonates with each client's experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of practical clinical experience in individual and group counseling.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Proven skills in crisis intervention and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
