Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, considering the interplay between mental and physical health conditions affecting our patients' lives.

• Develop and implement innovative treatment plans that address both psychological and physiological aspects of care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care, improved treatment outcomes, and an enhanced therapeutic experience for our patients.

• Provide immediate and effective crisis intervention to support patients during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients on the connection between mental health and physical health, empowering them with tools and strategies to manage their conditions effectively.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient assessments and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case reviews, contributing to interdisciplinary care strategies and collaborative planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is diverse, consisting of individuals struggling with various mental health issues alongside physical health challenges such as autoimmune disorders and chronic pain. As a counselor, you will play a vital role in understanding and addressing the complexities of patients’ experiences, assisting them through tailored interventions that respect their unique backgrounds and health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A deep understanding of mental health issues, particularly for individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for strong rapport-building with patients and teamwork with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Beyond Mind Solution-focused Clinic, we believe in rewarding our team for their hard work and dedication. Our salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
