Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to determine students' needs and creating personalized treatment plans.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, while utilizing practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitating psychoeducational and support groups tailored to students, helping them navigate common mental health challenges.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and education professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Responding to mental health crises promptly, providing immediate support and intervention.

• Educating students and families about mental health concerns, available treatment options, and community resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards to uphold the integrity of our practice.

• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary client focus will be on youth, including students from diverse backgrounds facing various mental health challenges. You will play a pivotal role in supporting their emotional and psychological growth, working closely with families and educational staff to build a robust support system around each student.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and the proficiency to apply evidence-based treatment modalities effectively.

• Experience in conducting comprehensive assessments, as well as creating and implementing effective treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele.
