Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education, training, and expertise to independently assess and diagnose psychosocial conditions in patients, tailoring your approach to their individual needs.

• Work collaboratively with patients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and preferences.

• Provide various behavioral interventions, drawing on evidence-based therapy techniques such as solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and others, promoting positive patient outcomes.

• Engage in regular coordination with fellow healthcare providers, including clinicians, psychologists from Walmart Health & Wellness, and primary care providers to cultivate an integrated care model that prioritizes the holistic health of every patient.

• Monitor and document patient progress towards treatment goals systematically, offering both in-person and virtual check-ins as appropriate to assure ongoing support.

• Participate in psychotropic medication management and collaborate with prescribing medical professionals to enhance treatment adherence, manage side effects, and evaluate medication effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who are engaged in detox programs and may also be dealing with a range of mental health issues, including substance abuse disorders. By providing compassionate, tailored psychotherapy, you will help patients navigate their paths to recovery, fostering resilience and promoting comprehensive wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York is essential for this role.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy independently to clients is required, demonstrating proficiency in handling diverse cases.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
