Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with adult clients experiencing work-related injuries.

• Facilitate engaging and informative weekly psychoeducational classes that enhance coping skills and knowledge about managing pain.

• Provide targeted brief therapy services to participants in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), closely monitoring and evaluating their progress.
\n
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for an active caseload of clients facing psychological challenges related to chronic pain.
\n
• Utilize best practices in the field of pain psychology to inform clinical care, ensuring evidence-based methodologies are applied to enhance patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to refer clients to additional therapeutic modalities within the clinic as needed.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions and care within our electronic medical record (EMR) system, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have suffered from workplace injuries, characterized by various psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and trauma interfacing with their physical pain. By understanding the complex interplay of mental and physical health in this population, you will provide compassionate care that leads to better recovery experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work is required.

• An active Clinical Social Work License (LCSW) in California.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years' experience utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.

• Proven experience in assessing and treating chronic pain conditions, especially in patients navigating trauma.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build a trusting relationship with patients to facilitate their healing journey.

• Sound judgment and the ability to respond appropriately to the nuanced needs of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
