Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Administering mindfulness-based interventions including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques tailored to individual client needs.

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to identify stressors, challenges, and goals, then crafting personalized mindfulness practices.
\n
• Leading clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques to foster self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitating group workshops and educational sessions on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience enhancement.
\n
• Incorporating mindfulness into individual therapy to specifically address clients' mental health concerns and facilitate their growth.

• Collaborating with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive and integrated treatment approach that includes mindfulness as a core component.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans for ongoing evaluation and care.

• Engaging in regular personal mindfulness practice and self-reflection to enhance your expertise in mindfulness methodologies.

Your clients will range from individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, to those seeking personal development and improved mental health. You will work with a diverse population, allowing you to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques that resonate with each unique client.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Strong proficiency in developing mindfulness-based interventions to assist clients in fostering emotional stability and resilience.

• Excellent communication skills, with a natural ability to create a nurturing therapeutic space.

Preferred Experience\n

• Training or considerable experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques or similar mindfulness practices.

• Experience working in outpatient settings with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
