Work Environment\n

In this telehealth role, you will have the flexibility to work from home while utilizing advanced technology platforms to connect with patients. Our innovative digital environment facilitates seamless communication between clinicians and patients, enabling effective real-time consultations. You will collaborate closely with a seasoned team of child psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff, all committed to delivering exceptional care. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some evening shifts required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect the developmental stages and family dynamics of patients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to foster family engagement and empower parents and caregivers in supporting their children’s mental health.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to act quickly and effectively during mental health emergencies involving young patients.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of patient progress according to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Keep informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on providing targeted mental health care to children and adolescents, addressing a spectrum of conditions from mild anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral disorders. The therapist will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various backgrounds and socio-economic statuses. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly with child and adolescent populations.

• In-depth knowledge of various child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proven experience delivering both individual and family therapy.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate approach centered on children and their families.

• Ability to establish rapport and trust with children and adolescents, fostering a safe therapeutic environment.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to effectively utilize technology for remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
