Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexibility while maintaining a team-oriented culture, where providers can collaborate with child psychiatrists and fellow therapists in regular virtual meetings. You will have access to a fully electronic health record (EHR) system to streamline communication and patient documentation. While your core hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required as dictated by patient needs, demonstrating our commitment to providing timely care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of children and adolescents presenting with various issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the developmental and familial contexts of each young individual.

• Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions aimed at improving mental health outcomes and enhancing family dynamics.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention services in high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and emotional stability of patients during acute mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to promote empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Maintain all required documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines, utilizing EHR systems to track patient progress efficiently.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clinical focus will primarily center on supporting children and adolescents who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties, including, but not limited to, emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, and developmental challenges. Working closely with families, you will aim to foster resilience and emotional well-being, equipping both patients and caregivers with effective coping strategies and resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues, along with proficiency in evidence-based therapeutics.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an innate ability to relate to children and families in a compassionate, supportive manner.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while fostering a positive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrable experience in providing therapy to children and adolescents in a clinical setting.

• Prior involvement in family therapy and experience in conducting mental health evaluations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
