This position operates in a modern outpatient office setting that embraces a collaborative approach to mental health care. The position involves flexibility, as it allows for remote work, while also engaging in occasional in-office visits in line with patient needs. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential evening shifts to accommodate your clients’ schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs of each child or adolescent, utilizing standardized measurement tools and observational methods.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the concerns of young individuals.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with child psychiatrists, educators, and other specialists to enhance coordinated care and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Your work will directly impact the emotional and psychological well-being of these young individuals and their families, providing critical support and therapeutic strategies to help them navigate challenging situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities specific to children and adolescents.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment practices.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating connections with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust while engaging and supporting young clients.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems and other computer applications relevant to patient management.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000–100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
