Work Environment\n

Our outpatient practice operates in a remote setting, allowing our team members the flexibility to manage their work-life balance. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to address patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that respect and incorporate patients' cultural backgrounds, enabling the creation of personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive space for patients to explore their challenges and promote resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a thorough and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients in psychological emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.

• Educate patients and families on mental health issues, treatment pathways, and available community resources to empower their choices and understanding.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation for all client interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage proactively in team meetings, sharing insights and participating in ongoing cultural competency training sessions to enhance practice effectiveness.

• Stay updated on current research, therapeutic best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatments combined with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy that incorporates culturally responsive methodologies.

• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities, with a calm demeanor under pressure.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
