Key Responsibilities As a Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting initial consultations and assessments to determine clients’ mental health statuses, needs, and personal goals. Developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments to address client issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and more. Leading regular therapy sessions, employing a range of evidence-based techniques and methods that promote client engagement and progress. Providing crisis intervention and support during significant emotional distress, ensuring clients have immediate access to the necessary resources. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to facilitate comprehensive care when needed. Maintaining accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice serves a diverse range of clients, including those coping with various mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid license (such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice as a mental health professional in the state of Washington. A minimum of two years of related experience working in a professional mental health setting. Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches and a deep understanding of mental health disorders. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in navigating electronic health records systems and telehealth software. Preferred Experience In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate will have: Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, with a culturally responsive approach in therapy. Strong skills in crisis intervention and conflict de-escalation in potentially challenging situations. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
