Pizzeria Otto in Lake Oswego is looking for an experienced, motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team and help deliver consistently great food and service. If you re passionate about quality ingredients, teamwork, and running an efficient kitchen, we d love to meet you!Pizzeria Otto has been described by the Oregonian as the gold standard for Neapolitan pizza in Portland.We are dedicated to bringing the food and spirit of Naples to the Northwest by serving fresh, seasonal and lovingly prepared food to regular folks in our neighborhood, in a comfortable, unpretentious, and family-friendly environment, at fair and affordable prices.Kitchen Manager responsibilities includeFood preparation & execution as determined by the Executive Chef.Food cost management & waste minimization.Food ordering and inventory/par management.Prep pars & prep quality management.Supervision and training of BOH staff. (coordinate w/ Location Manager & Chef)Assist LM & Executive Chef in scheduling BOH staff.Implementation of training programs for BOH staff (coordinate w/ Location Manager & Chef)Maintain BOH sanitation and safety standards.Maintain food preparation, quality & presentation standards as determined by the Chef.Ensure all BOH equipment is in working order and well maintained.Provide coaching and guidance to BOH staff on expectations and performance.Maintain a positive, friendly and professional approach with coworkers and customerIdeal candidates will have a strong work ethic and the ability to complete tasks quickly without constant supervision.
