Territory Sales Manager - Fuel Additive and Lubricants Industry - West Region - Must reside in California, Oregon, or Washington

Summary

\n

Growing chemical additives company is in need of a highly qualified Territory Sales Manager for the West region. The successful candidate must be technically savvy, experienced in solution-based sales and able to build lasting relationships. This is a home-office based position. The selected candidate will be offered a lucrative compensation package to include a strong base salary, bonus, and a full benefits package. Company assets will be provided, including work laptop, cell phone, and vehicle. Candidates must currently live in the assigned region in California, Washington, or Oregon. No relocation.

  • Experience in technical sales or related in chemicals, industrial or manufacturing equipment or goods, etc.
    • \n
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining customer relationships
    • \n
  • Ability to create and sell value based solutions
    • \n
  • Must be able to learn as needed and understand customers’ business and needs
    • \n
  • Strong organizational skills
    • \n
  • A self-motivated “hunter” mindset
    • \n

Position Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Bachelors’ degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketing or related
    • \n
  • Must exemplify professionalism in selling and convey a strong sense of urgency towards achieving sales goals
    • \n
  • 5+ years’ experience in technical sales
    • \n
  • Experience selling lubricants and fuel additives or other specialty chemicals is highly preferred
    • \n
  • Candidate must currently live in and have familiarity with assigned market geography (California, Washington, Oregon)
    • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and negotiating skills
    • \n
  • Basic PC skills and use of spreadsheet construction and analysis, word processing and data base management
    • \n
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • \n
  • A high level of initiative
    • \n
  • The ability to travel in the region
    • \n
