Infusion Authorization/Benefit Coordinator

Arizona Arthritis and Rheumatology Research, PLLC

Position Overview Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates, P.C. is a leading private Rheumatology practice with more than 60 providers, 15 sites, and over 300 employees. We are looking for an ambitious, friendly, positive, and compassionate Benefits Reverification Specialist to join our Infusion Team. The specialist will review the infusion schedule, verify insurance benefits and authorizations, coordinate referrals, manage patient reorders, ensure no gaps in insurance or manufacturer portal coverage, and flip the schedule at least ten business days in advance. Responsibilities Obtain eligibility and benefit information from medical insurance companies. Use insurance online portals for verification. Speak with insurance companies regarding specific drugs to determine coverage. Answer incoming calls and address inquiries. Respond and comply with requests for information. Complete other clerical duties as assigned. Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality. Requirements Must be able to work Monday–Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. High school diploma. Excellent customer service skills. Neat, professional appearance. Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications (NextGen a plus). Knowledge of general clerical procedures.
