26-27 Ay Temporary Faculty Pool (Lecturer) - Educational Leadership (Fresno)

Temporary Faculty Pool – Lecturer in Educational Leadership Temporary faculty members will teach courses in the Higher Education Administration & Leadership Program, the Educational Leadership Program, and/or the doctoral program in Educational Leadership. Possible courses include: HEAL 225: Higher education leadership & supervision HEAL 226: Assessment in higher education HEAL 223 Students in Higher Education HEAL 228 Current Issues in Higher Education ELA 261: School Leadership for Equity and Improvement ELA 262: Communities of Practice for Student Learning and Wellbeing ELA 263: Professional Learning for Teacher Growth Other classes as needed Responsibilities Adhere to and implement university and system-wide policies as directed. Prepare, deliver, conduct, proctor, and grade lectures, office hours, homework, quizzes, class projects, and exams. Ensure all classes are offered and meet as scheduled in the assigned mode (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid). Maintain accurate course records and meet all institutional deadlines. Required Qualifications Earned Master’s degree in educational leadership, higher education student affairs, or a closely related discipline. Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with diverse faculty, staff, and students. Professional experience in student affairs/higher education or P‑12 educational settings. For ELA courses: California CLEAR Administrative Credential. Familiarity and willingness to participate in CalAPA training and support. Preferred Qualifications Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, evidenced by prior teaching experience and evaluations. Leadership experience within student affairs/higher education or P‑12 educational settings. Earned doctorate in educational leadership or a closely related discipline. Compensation Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, within the CSU salary range for Academic Year Lecturers. Temporary faculty with a Master’s degree earn approximately $5,****,677 per month for full‑time teaching (15 WTUs).
