Licensed Physical Therapist for Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

Saddleback Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Newark, New Jersey. As a full-time PT in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, you will be responsible for evaluating and implementing treatment plans for a diverse range of patients, helping them recover and achieve their maximum functional potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs, establishing baseline measurements and individualizing treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities, exercises, stretching techniques, and manual therapy to facilitate pain relief, enhance mobility, and promote functional independence.
• Track and document progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans and goals as necessary to adapt to patient responses and recovery trajectories.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on appropriate therapeutic exercises and techniques to foster self-management and encourage ongoing participation in their recovery process.
• Give recommendations for assistive devices when needed, providing training on utilization to improve patient mobility and confidence.
• Engage in continuous professional growth through workshops, conferences, and active participation in relevant professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
