Work Environment

The position is onsite at our dedicated Rehabilitation Center in Newark, NJ, where you will work a consistent 40-hour week, including potential variable weekend hours. Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients to develop personalized treatment plans addressing functional limitations and disabilities.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers on the continuum of care for patients.
• Deliver exceptional patient interactions, ensuring adherence to customer service standards regardless of patient backgrounds.
• Accurately evaluate and interpret clinical findings, developing and updating treatment and discharge plans as required.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including treatment sessions and financial charges for services rendered.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams for a comprehensive approach to patient care, attending regular staff meetings and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and manage assigned support staff, ensuring effective utilization of resources for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in community outreach, educational programs, and marketing activities to promote the services offered by our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility issues. You will tailor intervention strategies based on individual assessments to promote recovery, increase functionality, and enhance overall quality of life. Your role will also encompass collaboration with patients' families to encourage a supportive rehabilitation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in word processing and familiar with electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting preferred.
• Experience with diverse patient populations, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior staff or support personnel.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
