Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health concerns, ultimately devising tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing proven therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to foster client growth and resilience.

• Collaborate with clients on setting achievable therapeutic goals, regularly tracking their progress to modify treatment as necessary effectively.

• Offer teletherapy services to clients who prefer virtual sessions or face barriers to in-person appointments, ensuring accessibility to our mental health resources.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and client records in compliance with ethical standards and regulations, reinforcing our commitment to professionalism.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training, remaining informed about innovative treatment approaches and evidence-based practices in mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of a trusting relationship with clients.
\n
• A compassionate, empathetic approach towards clients, with the ability to create a non-judgmental atmosphere conducive to therapeutic exploration.

• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage a varied caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing teletherapy or virtual counseling in a remote environment.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and methodologies that can be applied to individual client needs.

• Prior experience working in community health settings or clinics.
