Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive and culturally responsive psychotherapy to clients, employing individual or group therapy techniques tailored to their specific needs.

• Maintain a balanced caseload while ensuring timely and accurate documentation of clinical notes and treatment plans using our EHR system.

• Create collaborative treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Engage actively in team meetings and clinical trainings to discuss client progress, treatment strategies, and organizational objectives.

• Contribute creatively to the development of care models, programs, and initiatives that address the needs of our diverse community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Many clients come from marginalized populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, requiring an understanding and sensitivity to their lived experiences and challenges. Your expertise in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues will be pivotal in helping clients achieve meaningful growth and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active LPCC license in California is required.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience or substantial pre-licensure experience working with specialized populations.

• Thorough knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostics, ethical standards, and clinical documentation practices.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
