Requirements: • Minimum 4 years of Obstetrics/L&D experience • Active Colorado RN License • Current CPR/BLS certification • NRP certification • ACLS certification • Strong labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care experience • Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations • Strong communication and patient-care skills Assignment Details: • 13-week contract • Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM • 36 hours/week • On-call required • Holiday coverage required • 1 position available • W-2 employment only • Critical Access Hospital L&D Responsibilities: • Provide direct care to women throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum • Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor process • Perform comprehensive maternal assessments • Assist with C-sections and inductions • Provide immediate newborn care • Administer IV medications and treatments • Prepare delivery rooms and equipment • Support patients emotionally throughout labor and delivery • Coordinate patient transfers as needed • Provide postpartum and infant care • Educate patients and families on maternal and newborn care • Maintain accurate nursing documentation • Follow sterile technique and infection-control practices • Recognize and respond to changes in maternal or newborn condition • Collaborate with physicians and the OB care team CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID 299109.
