Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery in their homes, developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Implement a variety of treatment methods, including therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and assistive equipment, designed to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document and track treatment sessions, noting patient responses and progress to ensure adaptations are made as necessary over time.
• Regularly reevaluate patients' therapeutic goals and update treatment plans accordingly, ensuring they meet changing health needs and improve functional capabilities.
• Advise and fit patients with necessary assistive devices and provide training to them, their families, and caregivers on their effective use.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices by engaging in continued education opportunities, reading relevant professional literature, and participating in workshops.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits
