Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCPC, you will be instrumental in guiding young adults through their therapeutic journeys. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions designed to foster connection, encourage sharing of experiences, and promote mutual learning among clients.

• Individual Counseling: Provide compassionate and tailored one-on-one therapy, allowing clients to explore their emotions, behaviors, and coping mechanisms. You will work collaboratively with them to establish actionable goals.

• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans in partnership with clients, effectively addressing their unique challenges and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and client feedback to track progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are seeking assistance at our outpatient treatment center. These individuals may face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Our program emphasizes evidence-based and holistic treatment approaches, enabling you to address the complex needs of this demographic with empathy and skill.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
