Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC at the Thriving Center of Counseling, your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to address the individual needs of your clients, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored and effective.

• Collaborate and communicate with supervisors, family members, and other professionals involved in the client’s care to discuss progress and adapt strategies as necessary.

• Maintain a structured scheduling system for client appointments, home visits, and necessary observations to monitor and promote ongoing progress.
\n
• Lead and coordinate home visits for in-depth assessments and observations, and actively participate in the documentation of client progress through comprehensive chart reviews.
\n
• Facilitate Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and contribute to discussions on best practices and effective care pathways.
\n
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect the client’s journey and outcomes.
\n
• Organize and conduct training sessions to ensure that team members are proficient in program implementation and documentation.
\n
• Act as a liaison between the organization and the community, promoting mental health initiatives and resources.
\n
• Contribute to the development of training materials aimed at enhancing program delivery and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role provides a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse client population, including both adults and youth. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid and unrestricted license as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in client care.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A demonstrated history of collaborative work within a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
