Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluate clients to develop tailored therapeutic strategies that address their unique needs and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) for individuals, families, and groups.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Participate in professional development and training workshops to stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families often facing challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Many of our clients come from underserved backgrounds and have limited access to mental health care. This role allows you to provide essential support to those who may not otherwise receive the care they need.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of applicable counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in the use of EMR software and related technologies.
