Description:

TITLE: Lab Coordinator (FLKS)
Job Requirements
o Responsible for recruitment and scheduling, including sending recruitment emails to program participants, as part of weekly specimen collection activities
o Responsible for Informed Consent process
o Input data from the collection activities into electronic database and secure servers
o Tracking and maintaining documents in the site’s study binders and electronic files
o Assist with all site-level activities as part of associate based collection activities
o Complete enrollment process with all new collection program participants
o Prepare a schedule for daily collections in collaboration with site staff
o Set up appointments and track all re-screening activities
o Prepare daily documentation for studies (i.e. source documents, Informed Consents, Re-Screen form, etc.)
o Reconcile daily collections
o Enter and track subject reimbursement
Access and training for all the above-mentioned duties will be provided

Qualifications
o Associates Degree in a scientific discipline plus 1 year lab experience required or Bachelor’s Degree
o Must be available to work full-time, on site, 5 days a week, in BD Franklin Lakes, NJ campus
o Strong teamwork and communication skills
o Detail-oriented
o Strong time management skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
o Able to learn new computer programs as needed
o Flexible and able to work in a high paced lab environment
o Previous experience administering Informed Consent a plus
o Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
