Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that consider clients' individual needs, preferences, and long-term goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders and effective coping strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to therapeutic approaches as necessary.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure holistic treatment provision.

• Remain informed about the latest research on mood disorder therapies to continually refine treatment strategies.
\n
• Uphold ethical practices by maintaining accurate and confidential client records.
\n
• Engage in advocacy efforts that address mental health stigma and promote community awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus predominantly on clients experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with diverse populations, including those who are homeless, refugees, or victims of domestic abuse. Your ability to connect with and understand the unique challenges faced by these individuals is instrumental in fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
