The counseling services at Summit are delivered exclusively through our telehealth platform, providing a convenient, virtual environment that enables counselors to reach diverse clientele without geographical constraints. This setup not only enhances patient accessibility but also allows our counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance, as our operational hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and diagnostic needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and overall well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address patients’ unique needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients navigate trauma, build coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s circumstances.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and offer immediate support to patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them.
