Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time Role

Position Overview

Lincoln Assert Motion Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team in South River, New Jersey. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their mobility, enhance their lives, and achieve their optimal level of function. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering evidence-based care and guiding patients through personalized rehabilitation journeys.

About the Organization

Our practice, situated in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot facility, specializes in orthopedic outpatient services aimed at restoring movement and reducing pain. We pride ourselves on our patient-centric approach and a commitment to providing exceptional care. Our clinic fosters a collaborative environment among our healthcare team, which includes two licensed Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). We primarily serve a diverse patient demographic covered by private medical insurance, ensuring a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for all who come through our doors.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our modern outpatient office in South River. You will benefit from a fully equipped sports medicine facility that encourages optimal patient-treatment experiences. We believe in maintaining a dynamic workflow that emphasizes ongoing learning, collaboration, and direct communication among staff members. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured yet flexible schedule tailored for both patient care and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and establish individualized treatment goals based on their unique needs.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring that you meet the standard of one patient per hour while providing high-quality care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic therapy to develop and implement effective treatment plans that might include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular reeducation.
• Document patient progress meticulously using WebPT Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to ensure accurate care tracking and communication.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing pain, helping patients avoid reliance on medications.
• Educate patients about their conditions and motivate them to adhere to their treatment plans and exercise regimens.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to guarantee holistic care and comprehensive treatment for our patients.
• Monitor patient outcomes, making necessary adjustments to therapy as needed based on ongoing evaluations.
• Promote healthy lifestyle habits that contribute to improved strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors working to maintain mobility and independence. We focus on delivering individualized care, ensuring that each patient receives a treatment plan tailored specifically to their lifestyle, goals, and recovery pace.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A proven track record of maintaining a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in creating effective exercise protocols.
• Experience using WebPT EMR software is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying patient needs.
• 7+ years of experience in providing physical therapy services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
