Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, using specialized assessment tools and techniques to understand their specific needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based modalities, such as dry needling, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy.
• Provide direct hands-on therapy sessions that may involve functional exercises, balance training, and specialized interventions aimed at promoting recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home rehabilitation techniques and preventive strategies to ensure ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay current with best practices in physical therapy by participating in continuing education and attending professional development workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with a diverse patient demographic ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to geriatric patients experiencing chronic musculoskeletal pain. Your role will focus on helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function, ultimately empowering them to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting, which may include internships or residency training.
• Strong foundational knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, injury mechanisms, and physical therapy treatment protocols specifically related to orthopedic care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, and soft tissue mobilization.
• Familiarity with documentation systems such as EMR (Electronic Medical Records) to streamline patient management and communication.
• Proven ability to establish rapport with patients and deliver customized care based on their individual needs and preferences.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and expertise.
