Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical consultation to fellow clinical staff regarding mental health issues, focusing on diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with substance use disorders.

• Effectively communicate and interpret vital information concerning clients and their families to ensure a cohesive approach to care.

• Coordinate the planning and decision-making processes for individual patient care plans, emphasizing the understanding of their home environments and respective challenges.

• Devise treatment plans tailored to client needs, regularly reviewing and updating provider cases to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Document progress notes efficiently after each client session, maintaining accurate records that inform subsequent treatment strategies.

• Contribute to team meetings and case discussions, sharing insights and recommendations that enhance client care.

• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements while promoting best practices in mental health treatment.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the goals and operations of El Centro Behavioral Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population, providing mental health support to individuals from various backgrounds, including older adults and those facing challenges related to substance use. Our clients often present with co-occurring disorders, requiring a multifaceted approach to treatment that incorporates psychological, social, and familial considerations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• You must hold a valid independent license: LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.
\n
• Proficiency in completing detailed progress notes promptly after client sessions.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in community health or outpatient environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
