Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to create individualized treatment strategies. You’ll leverage your diagnostic skills to identify mental health issues that are impacting your clients’ daily lives.

• Implement therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care techniques. Your therapeutic interventions will assist clients in addressing their specific mental health struggles with empathy and understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client base within educational settings, including children and adolescents grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe space for these youth to express their feelings, navigate their challenges, and develop coping strategies that facilitate their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice in New York as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
