Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique situation and needs, developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.

• Deliver effective therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families using modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Lead psychoeducational groups and support sessions, creating spaces for clients to build community and share experiences regarding their mental health journeys.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support during emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses to clients in distress.

• Educate clients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them along their therapeutic journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage in regular case consultations and contribute to team meetings to share insights and enhance treatment approaches.

• Stay informed about developments in mental health research and therapeutic methods to continuously improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a wide range of patients experiencing diverse mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Your role will be integral in providing these individuals with the tools and support they need to improve their mental well-being, facilitating healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Educational Background: A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities. Proven ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop effective therapeutic strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
