Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual or family.

• Provide crisis intervention services promptly to clients facing acute emotional distress or familial issues.

• Offer various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family therapy, to address diverse mental health challenges.

• Facilitate training and mentorship programs on mental health issues to educate parents and professionals within the community.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance integrated care for clients, promoting a holistic approach to mental health treatment.

• Lead parent support groups, offering a nurturing space for discussion, coping strategies, and parenting resources, with particular emphasis on placements and adoption for prenatally substance-exposed children.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse range of clients, including children from birth through 21 years and their families. You will address a wide array of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, addiction-related issues, chronic pain, and challenges related to gender identity and family dynamics. Your expertise will empower families to navigate complex emotional landscapes and foster resilience within themselves and their children.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and appropriate California state license in Marriage and Family Therapy.
\n
• Strong knowledge of normal child development, effective parenting strategies, and issues surrounding child abuse and neglect.

• Diverse skills in providing interventions tailored for high-risk children and their families.
\n
• Ability to perform age-appropriate assessments and interventions as required by your clients’ unique needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with mental health treatment and intervention strategies for children and young adults aged 0 to 21.

• Familiarity with team-oriented approaches in mental health settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Your commitment to helping others will be rewarded with a competitive salary in the range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and caseload management.
