Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions that incorporate mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to understand their mental health challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, allowing for customized mindfulness strategies.

• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques in your therapeutic approach, promoting self-awareness and aiding clients in emotional regulation.

• Organize and lead workshops focusing on stress management and resilience-building practices, enhancing the community’s access to mental health support.

• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans that reflect best practices in mental health and wellness.

• Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage regularly in personal mindfulness practice and professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills, particularly in mindfulness-based therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults experiencing challenges related to stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties. Your expertise in mindfulness will be crucial as you help clients navigate their mental health journeys, improve coping mechanisms, and achieve their personal wellness goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

• Proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices within therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create a soothing and empathetic environment for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
