Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Provide therapeutic services informed by evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Manage a caseload that allows for continuous engagement with clients, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, including referrals and inter-agency collaboration when necessary.

• Participate in training, workshops, and team meetings to stay updated on the latest developments in mental health care and treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMHC at Embers Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges. Our clientele often require tailored interventions due to their limited access to mental health resources; thus, your role will be crucial in reducing barriers to achieving optimal mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington state.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Specialized training or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.

• Proficient understanding of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related technologies, contributing to efficient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, based on your experience and caseload.
