Accounts Payable Clerk

LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a company located in Chandler, AZ. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with experience processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and working within an ERP system. This role is Monday-Friday, fully onsite and is paying $23/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payment processing and vendor account reconciliations.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Experience working with an ERP or accounting software; Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
