Work Environment

This position is onsite, primarily focusing on home care, which allows our Physical Therapists to provide personalized treatment in a familiar environment that helps foster recovery and comfort. You will operate in a dynamic atmosphere where collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential for comprehensive patient care. Moreover, the full-time schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced approach to work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients to determine their current conditions, medical histories, functional limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Create and implement individualized plans of care tailored to each patient's unique needs and therapy objectives.
• Deliver treatments that encompass education, customized exercise regimens, and various manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about at-home rehabilitation programs and strategies for injury prevention.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow Physical Therapists, support staff, and physicians to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with individuals experiencing orthopedic challenges, including post-operative recovery, musculoskeletal pain, and general mobility issues. Our approach is holistic, ensuring that every patient receives the care tailored to their specific circumstances and goals, and emphasizing the improvement of their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program is required.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey as a licensed Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred; however, new graduates with a strong clinical background are encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to connect and build rapport with patients is essential.
• Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills will be beneficial in delivering effective rehabilitation therapies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care setting or outpatient orthopedic therapy will be advantageous.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• A willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and education to further enhance skill sets.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary of USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
