Business Development Account Manager
In the Business Development Account Manager role, we need a candidate who seeks out solutions for current and new customers.
Skills Needed

- Strong PC skills and CRM software
Job Duties
- Visit customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, lunch and learns, happy hours, etc. to cultivate client relationships
- Aggressively pursue new business prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
- Maintain an up-to-date customer/contact list in our CMS system to facilitate the distribution of marketing materials, meetings, proposals, and sales
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote products and gain feedback from clients about products
- Work with a cross-functional team to define/refine Company products for clients
- Travel up to 40% in the US and International (limited)
Background
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other technical field. Other Degrees could be considered
- 5+ years' experience in chemical manufacturing, marketing, or sales environments chemical sales experience highly desirable
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations in order to sell Company products and services
- Ability to prioritize activities that achieve sales goals, specifically good time and territory management skills
- Must have the ability to work in collaborative environment
- Ability to manage projects in a complex multi-cultural matrix environment.
