Bookkeeper

West Press is an Employee‑owned commercial printing company in Tucson, AZ. Currently, there is an opening in our accounting department for a bookkeeper. This position requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and organization. Experience is required. Required Skills Above average typing and 10‑key skills Dependable & trust worthy Strong attention to detail Highly organized Hold company, staff, and client information in confidence Above average writing and math skills Team player – care about the staff and the company Follow direction and procedures Make recommendations in a professional manner Interact with staff, clients and vendors in a professional manner Sitting for 2‑4 hours at a time Contribute to the success of the company Excellent work ethic Above average knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with QuickBooks Desktop Position Responsibilities Logging invoices into QuickBooks Maintain invoice log to ensure accountability Accounts payables and receivables Prepare/assist with company financials Prepare/assist with company tax filings Leader, teacher, coach capabilities Administrate and/or support others with ESOP reporting Reconcile banking and credit card statements Updating customer resale tax certificates and QE forms Prepare new hire packets and assist with other HR responsibilities Process credit card charges Send monthly statements to clients Email invoices to clients Other accounting duties as requested This position is full‑time, Monday – Friday. Hours are between 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Compensation: Based on experience. Benefits include health, dental, vacation, and retirement. Background check may be required before hiring.
