Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and comfort for clients.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress within their treatment plans, making necessary adjustments based on observed needs.

• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention plans.

• Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians to ensure clients received appropriate care during hospitalizations.

• Identify potential behaviors that may impede recovery and proactively implement strategies to mitigate these challenges.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing a client’s mental health challenges by offering resources and guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults and families, each facing unique emotional and psychological challenges. The LMHC will provide care to individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various behavioral issues. This role requires a strong commitment to empathy and understanding of diverse backgrounds and experiences, ensuring that every client feels valued and heard.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a similar discipline is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience as a Mental Health Counselor, with a successful track record in therapeutic settings.

• Thorough understanding of the effects of psychiatric medications and an ability to engage in informed discussions around them.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compassionately.

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills alongside a sympathetic demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.

• Relevant training and certifications—such as LMHC licensure—are required for practicing in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 101,000 annually, commensurate with experience and productivity.
