Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, ensuring thorough documentation from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Assess the mental, emotional, and behavioral health of clients, developing tailored intervention strategies that foster healing and recovery.

• Design and implement detailed treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, taking into account specific needs and cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote self-discovery and growth.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses to create cohesive intervention plans.

• Maintain communication with hospitals and attending physicians regarding clients who may require inpatient care.

• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may obstruct the recovery process, employing proactive strategies to enhance client stability.

• Offer guidance to family members and primary caregivers to help them navigate the complexities of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients served range from young adults to seniors, presenting with a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• A successful score in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling role, showcasing a client-centered approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for efficient case management.

• Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and experience with physical health conditions that impact mental well-being.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. A sign-on bonus is also available as part of our competitive compensation package.
