Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our contemporary outpatient office in Virginia Beach, where you will work Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art resources and technologies that support effective physical therapy and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, ensuring evidence-based practices are implemented.
• Monitor patient progress with a keen eye, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies and preventative care, fostering independence and enhancing their recovery journey.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation within EMR systems, ensuring compliance with both state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide a seamless patient experience.
• Engage in community outreach and education programs to promote wellness and physical health in Virginia Beach.
• Continuously update your professional knowledge and skills through participation in training and development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative individuals, and those managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings.

• Proficient in using EMR software such as WebPT to streamline documentation and improve patient care delivery.
• Solid understanding of and commitment to evidence-based physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with orthopedic and sports rehabilitation is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in managing a diverse patient case load while achieving favorable treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
