Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology, designed to facilitate an optimal healing environment. We primarily serve patients through private medical insurance carriers, ensuring they receive exceptional care tailored to their individual needs. Our team is composed of experienced physical therapists and support staff who share a common goal: to empower patients on their recovery journey.

Work Environment

This position is focused on onsite care within our modern facility where you will collaborate with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a reliable work-life balance while allowing ample time to provide consistent and focused care for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals, challenges, and specific needs.
• Evaluate and monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans based on individual responses to therapy.
• Deliver personalized care through hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and innovative modalities that enhance patient recovery.
• Implement effective strategies to reduce the necessity for medications and invasive procedures, prioritizing safe and conservative approaches to treatment.
• Encourage patient motivation and engagement throughout their rehabilitation process, providing emotional support and guidance.
• Document all patient care services thoroughly, maintaining accurate electronic records using EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize care delivery and address complex patient needs.
• Develop and lead fitness and wellness programs tailored to enhance patient strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those with sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, and various mobility impairments. By focusing on evidence-based interventions and patient-centered care, you will help your clients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• DPT Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist License for Virginia with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient manual therapy and exercise techniques, demonstrating a commitment to effective patient care.
• Experience with EMR software, preferably WebPT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient health records.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• A passion for patient-centered care and an ability to inspire and motivate individuals.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 – 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
