Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, ideal for both professional development and patient interaction. You will be working alongside a small but closely-knit team of two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring that you have the support needed to excel in patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify needs, goals, and functional limitations, and establish individualized treatment plans based on best practices.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to enhance patients' mobility and overall physical function, including exercises, manual therapy, and education.
• Manage a patient load of 2-3 individuals per hour, ensuring optimal client care while maximizing therapy outcomes and productivity.
• Reduce reliance on prescription medications by offering effective, non-surgical treatment options to address musculoskeletal and mobility-related issues.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs, promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Effectively document all aspects of patient care, including progress notes and treatment sessions, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to tailor treatment plans, enhance patient outcomes, and provide holistic care.
• Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of treatment interventions, making necessary adjustments to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve a diverse client base that includes athletes, active individuals, and patients undergoing rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions. Our facility provides specialized care focused on sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and general mobility enhancement, ensuring that our patients receive personalized and effective treatment tailored to their specific circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required.
• Current state Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no disciplinary actions or board actions against it.
• Demonstrated manual therapy skills, with a strong background in orthopedic outpatient care preferred.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) software, ideally WebPT, to facilitate efficient patient documentation and care tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting, especially focused on outpatient therapy, is highly advantageous.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-focused environment to optimize patient care.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and motivate patients toward achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

Agile Touch Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
