Work Environment

This full-time position requires the Physical Therapist to work onsite, providing home care services directly to patients within the Virginia Beach area. The role involves not only patient interaction but also collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Guided Grace Therapy Center adopts a flexible schedule, primarily working Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from injuries, diseases, or other health conditions.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on physician referrals, setting measurable goals aligned with each patient's specific needs.
• Document all aspects of patient care, including evaluations, treatment notes, care plans, and discharge summaries, utilizing electronic health records in a timely manner.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel to ensure effective delivery of care and adherence to best practices.
• Regularly reassess patient progress and modify treatment interventions as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with medical professionals to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment strategies accordingly.
• Provide constructive feedback to the Clinical Director regarding productivity standards and intervention effectiveness to enhance overall care quality.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
